Tinky Winky (purple), Dipsy (green), Laa-Laa (yellow) and Po (red) are the four Tellytubbies in an British animated Television series which aired in 1990. The show was aimed at babies and toddlers and the characters spoke gibberish baby talk and had TV screens implanted on their terry-cloth tummy’s. The Television series was hugely successful and today not only do children like to dress up as Tellytubbies but adults do as well.
