The film was a huge box office success and led the way for an animated version, multiple computer games and Beetlejuice the Stage Musical. We’re talking ghosts here and the afterlife. The obnoxious character Beetlejuice or Betelgeuse is repulsive, a perfect costume choice for Halloween.
